Knowing how to support your team members is essential to their success at work — and to your own. This course is designed to help front-line people leaders create a workplace that prioritizes the psychological health and well-being of its employees. For this course, people leader means anyone who is in a managerial, supervisory, or leadership role. They have many competing priorities, including responsibilities such as budget management, work planning, reporting, and business operations. For a variety of reasons, psychological health and safety should be incorporated into all aspects of people leaders’ work.
With a focus on practical strategies and real-world scenarios, the course will help you identify and address workplace stressors, promote positive mental health, and create a supportive work environment. It covers crucial topics such as effective communication, conflict management, and work-life balance. Participants will acquire the tools and knowledge they need to lead their team to better psychological health and safety, which can increase productivity and produce a more positive work culture.
